
Installing the Mac Client
In order to access PowerChurch Online, you need to have a small piece of software installed on your local machine.
You can install a browser plugin, but the most sure-fire method is to download and install the standalone client
native to your operating system.
- Click here to download ids-client.dmg.
If prompted, choose to save it to a convenient place on your hard drive
- The program should automatically start once the download is complete. If it does not, double-click to run the installer.
- Click Continue on the installer using the default settings. Click Close when the installation is complete.
- From Finder, click Go > Applications. Double click the IDS icon.
- You can create shortcuts to the IDS Client by dragging the icon onto the Desktop or Dock.
- When running the program for the first time, you will be prompted for a server name. Enter "apps.mypowerchurch.com" (without the quotes), then click Connect.
- When prompted for a User name and Password, enter those supplied to you by PowerChurch Software.
You may receive a message stating that "asp cannot be found." If so, just bypass the message and enter the server name shown above.
